Service Description

Kati Basti (therapeutic treatment for the spine) is a restorative treatment to soothe the lumbosacral region, indicated for low back pain, slipped discs, sciatica and arthritis affecting the spine. This treatment uses an organic hand-made flour dough dam which creates a reservoir and is placed over the affected area. Your treatment will include Marma Point Therapy (gentle pressure point therapy) to correspond with the Basti treatment. Warm medicated oils are poured inside the reservoir to deeply penetrate the tissues, vertebrae, nerves and muscles, assisting with the healing process.
